By now, the Premier League has got us going with postponements, rearrangements, and whatnot. So a rescheduled game offers different insights, including the opportunity to re-access a team, understand their tactics and be prepared to face them. Whether or not the Foxes will be able to do all of that is there to be seen because, at the moment, Spurs are the favourites.

While the team has been transformed under Conte, it is yet to reach the Italian’s standards, regardless of the fact that he has broken records within a short period. So the process of rebuilding is on and the Foxes can either break it all up or submit to the same.

Leicester vs Spurs: Digging into the game

An energized version of Spurs

Tottenham fans have got something to cheer on ever since Conte took charge as their manager. The Italian’s work at Spurs is there to be seen, even though he believes there’s more to be achieved. From improvements at the centre back to an attacking threat at the forward line, Conte has devised a plan for Spurs that seems to be working. However, as he mentioned, Spurs have a lot more work to do if they want one of those prestigious top four spots taking them to the Champions League.

Are the Foxes slowly picking momentum?

After getting off to a dismal start, the Foxes are slowly picking up three points with important victories. While it is yet to match the calibre of their previous season, it is better than what they were putting up at the start of the season. So if they can finally get the start that they require, the Foxes can look like a solid Premier League side capable of keeping clean sheets and assisting the likes of Jamie Vardy, James Maddison and so on.

However, when it comes to a game against the Spurs, Leicester will have to lock up their defence department and try to prevent the forward line up from scoring goals at their home ground.

Spurs without Heung Min Son?

Antonio Conte has confirmed that Heung Min Son will be out until the International break as he is recovering from a calf injury. Since that clearly places an impact on the whole squad, one wonders how Spurs will cope up. Son has been an important attacking threat and opposition defenders would be happy to see him away from the starting lineup.

While Conte has a plan for everything, one needs to understand what exactly will he bring to the table when one of his star players are missing.

What can the Foxes do differently?

Leicester needs to be ready to welcome Spurs and need to have a proper plan of action. And if that plan has to work, the Foxes need to start looking into the midfield as Spurs tend to lack creativity on this side of the pitch. While their defence and attack have received a much-needed boost, their midfield seems to crumble down in comparison.

So the Foxes have a huge task in hand and would want all their leading players to stand up to the same. If they cannot, a loss of three points will prove to be costly as European spots are slowly getting filled one after the other. Since Spurs are also in the race for the top four, they would not want to leave without taking all three points.

So the game is on and it stands to be an important fixture where teams don’t give up until the last moment. Considering the fact that fixtures like these turn up the heat and the excitement, football betting sounds like a possible route that many take.

Leicester City vs Tottenham: Head-to-head

The Foxes and Spurs have played a total of 30 games in the Premier League. Since only 5 of those have been draws, you can expect a full-fledged action when these teams face each other. And if one were to look at the head-to-head record, they would even place the odds since both teams have what it takes.
